Angel Tree at South Walton Fire District

November 13, 2013 by SoWal Staff

The South Walton Fire District (SWFD) is once again hosting the Caring and Sharing “Angel Tree” for the 13th consecutive year. Each holiday season the “Angel Tree” is filled with names of children ages one month to 12 years of age who live in Walton County and otherwise may not receive Christmas gifts.

This year the SWFD has received over 300 angel names from Caring and Sharing of North and South Walton. “Angels” are available for selection Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Station 3 Headquarters at 911 North County Highway 393, Santa Rosa Beach.

Gifts may be dropped off to Station 3 Headquarters before Friday, December 6, 2013 either wrapped or unwrapped, but preferably in a gift bag. This is your chance to light up a child's life with gifts on Christmas morning.

For more information or to schedule a special time to select an angel name, please contact Robbie Lund, Administrative Assistant at Station 3 Headquarters, 850-267-1298, via email at rlund@swfd.org or visit SWFD website at www.swfd.org. Pick an angel today and be a child's hero this holiday season.
