ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival May 13-14

The 29th annual ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival will fill Grand Boulevard’s Town Center with over 150 national exhibiting artists on May 13-14 over Mother’s Day weekend. Produced by the CAA and presented by Grand Boulevard, ArtsQuest also includes a CAA Member Exhibition, live art demonstrations, continuous live music and performances, delicious food and beverage options, ImagiNation: where kids rule, and an #ArtMatters Parade on Saturday at noon. ArtsQuest is open to the public Saturday, May 13th, 10am – 7pm and Sunday, May 14th, 12pm – 5pm. A $5 donation per person is requested at the gate. ArtsQuest is a juried show that includes artists in the categories of Ceramics, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Oils & Acrylics, Original Digital Art, Photography, Sculpture, Wood and Works on Paper (Watercolor, Printmaking, Pastels, Pencils, Ink). ArtsQuest awards $10,000 in cash prizes and is a rain or shine event. Meet the artists: 2017 ARTSQUEST JURIED ARTISTS.
ArtsQuest weekend is a wonderful Mother's Day tradition in South Walton, Florida. And Grand Boulevard is the perfect venue for a weekend of art, food + drink, music and fun for the family.

Alcoholic beverages, sodas and bottled water will be for sale in Grand Park throughout the weekend. Food tents will be available. Grand Boulevard Restaurants are conveniently located around Town Center.
Music & Entertainment
Live music of all genres will be performed on the Grand Park Stage throughout the weekend with kids' entertainment featured on the ImagiNation stage.

Join us on Saturday, May 13th at Noon to celebrate and raise awareness of the Arts with a second line style #ArtMatters parade! Adults and kids of all ages will wind their way through Grand Boulevard. Face-painting, crazy hair and costumes are all encouraged. Stop by the ImagiNation Tent (where kids rule) for pre-parade face-painting and craft-making. Everyone is invited to join in the fun and be part of the art!

The 2017 ArtsQuest Featured Festival Artist is Christon Anderson. Anderson’s custom artwork titled “Next Quest” will be the featured image on all ArtsQuest marketing materials for the festival, including posters and merchandise.

SOUTH WALTON ART WEEK
Art Week South Walton, an initiative led by the Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County and presented by Visit South Walton, kicks off this coming Thursday, May 11 with the Grand Opening of The Foster Gallery in its Grand Boulevard new location followed by many other events, including the Northwest Florida Theatre Festival, ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival, Seaside Writers Conference, A Celebration of Coastal Artists at Drift Home & Gifts, Explore Creativity with Justin Gaffrey at the Justin Gaffrey Gallery, Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach, and the Rosemary Beach Sculpture Exhibition.
