Lazy days in SoWal are often spent relaxing close to nature and noshing on delicious eats. With the local, fresh, seasonal movement in full force, our local farmers markets provide a place where foodies and local growers form a strong sense of community. So whether you sustain an organic lifestyle or just like to have fun, these seven farmers markets on our latest SoWal List are worth a visit.
Hammock Bay Farmers Market - Farmers and artisans will offer local honey, leather and pearls jewelry, baked sweets, and children’s clothing at the inaugural Hammock Bay Farmers Market this November-all in the name of supporting the local economy.

Seaside Farmers Market - Seaside Farmers Market is on a mission to educate the public about sustainable practices by providing a well-rounded, green living experience. Vendors offer farm fresh, locally grown produce, homemade baked goods, beef from happy cows, heirloom seeds, artisan breads and cheeses, organic eggs, preserves, and doggie treats, to name a few.

St. Andrews Bay Farmers Market - Historical St. Andrews Bay serves as the backdrop to this local market that features produce and fresh gulf seafood. Live local music fills the air as market-goers peruse honey, spinach pie, artisan breads, preserves, boiled peanuts, and arts and crafts. Get there early to claim your pick of fresh fruits and veggies.

Grand Lagoon Farmers Market - The Grand Lagoon Farmers Market supports the ‘makers, bakers and growers’ that set up shop at Captain Anderson’s each weekend. Look for free-range eggs, seasonal produce (think fall greens), homemade soaps, Israeli falafel, and local singers and songwriters cranking out the tunes.

Gulf Place Farmers Market - Centrally located between Destin and Seaside, Gulf Place is the perfect spot to shop, eat, pick up some fresh produce, and collect original artwork. The farmers market is held every Sunday and every third Thursday in conjunction with Third Thursday Wine Walkabout at Gulf Place Town Center. While you're at it, take a stroll through The Artists at Gulf Place, a colorful colony for the creative.

Carillon Farmers Market - Aside from standard farmers market fare, such as produce, honey, salsa, jams and jellies, vendors at Carillon Beach have a few unique items to share with the community. Here you’ll find gourmet mushrooms, European sausages, and Southern gumbo, while local musicians entertain the crowd with free concerts.

30a Farmers Market at - Rosemary Beach The 30a Farmers Market combines culinary influences from around the world in one convenient location. Items up for grabs include grits, good olive oils and vinegars, fresh fruits and veggies, beef, seafood, eggs and chicken. (Or is it chicken then eggs?) Cooking demonstrations led by local chefs are popular. Tarts, cakes, pies, and gelato have the power to cure any sweet tooth. Fresh flowers to brighten your day are a must.
