Get a Taste of the Beach at Pier Park May 16

Get ready to sample delicious fare from some of Northwest Florida's leading restaurants during Pier Park’s “Taste of the Beach” on Saturday, May 16, from 2-6 p.m. The beachfront culinary tasting event will entice visitors with a variety of good eats, as well as live entertainment by Forrest Williams Band and Boukou Groove.
 
“Panama City Beach is a mecca for great eats, and we’re excited to showcase them during our annual Taste of the Beach event,” said Michael Kerrigan, director of marketing and business development at Pier Park. “The tasting event provides the area’s leading restaurants with a chance to highlight their signature items in Pier Park’s unique beachfront atmosphere.”  
 
To participate in the tasting, attendees must purchase a “taste wristband”, which includes 10 taste tabs. Simply turn in a taste tab in exchange for a culinary delight from one of more than 20 restaurants. At the end of the event, the taste tabs will be counted and the restaurant with the most taste tabs collected will receive a cash prize on behalf of Pier Park.
 
Wristbands are available at Pier Park’s mall office, located near Marble Slab Creamery and Five Guys Burgers and Fries, and on-site on the day of the event. Wristbands are $10 each in advance or $15 the day of the event.
