Panama City Beach Seafood & Music Festival Returns OCT 17 & 18

August 19, 2014 by SoWal Staff

This fall, the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Panama City Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA) invite locals and visitors alike to Aaron Bessant Park to enjoy big-name concerts and fresh Gulf seafood as the Panama City Beach Seafood and Music Festival makes its return.

The event, which will take place October 17 and 18, 2014, is headlined by Grammy Award–winning country music group The Band Perry on Saturday and classic favorites Blues Traveler, Foghat and the Outlaws on Friday evening. Other acts performing include the Dylan Altman Blues Band, Heritage, Little Honey, the Andy Velo Band, the Dave Pahanish Band, the Adam Craig Band and Josh Thompson.

Tickets are on sale now at www.PCBSeafoodFestival.com; options include one-day ($25) and weekend ($40) general admission passes, as well as VIP weekend passes ($150) and preferred seating passes ($65). Those wishing to get the best deal on VIP or preferred seating tickets should act quickly, as prices will increase as the festival draws nearer.

Come for the music — stay for the food! Florida’s Gulf Coast is known for having some of the best seafood, and many local restaurants and vendors will be participating in this year’s festival, bringing everything from fried shrimp to fish tacos, plus cold beverages and desserts to round out the experience.

Saturday morning will also feature a 5K run/walk benefiting local organizations. More details on this event will be forthcoming.
