Sandestin Gumbo Festival Feb 24-25

The Village of Baytowne Wharf & Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort got lined up a whole lotta mo betta great gumbo paired with first-rate family fun at the Gulf Coast’s favorite winter food event – the 34th  Annual Sandestin Gumbo Festival, held on Saturday, February 25th at The Village of Baytowne Wharf.

The Sandestin Gumbo Festival has been known as one of the largest and most popular winter food events along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Now in its 34th year, the event takes over Baytowne Wharf. On Saturday, Feb. 25th from 12-4 p.m. guests will enjoy live Zydeco music from Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe, family activities and the best gumbo cook-off on the Gulf Coast.

This winter festival favorite is back for its 34th year! Dark or light roux? Chicken, sausage or seafood? Gulf Coast restaurants will compete for the title of ‘Best Gumbo on the Emerald Coast.” Vote for your favorite as the “People’s Choice” winner as celebrity judges deliberate over who will take home the top prize. The afternoon will also feature live music and children’s activities.
