Third Annual Rosemary Beach Uncorked October 20

October 14, 2012 by SoWal Staff

Rosemary Beach is bringing back one of our favorite events, the third annual “Rosemary Beach Uncorked,” a culinary and wine pairing event on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Net proceeds from the event will benefit Caring and Sharing of South Walton, a volunteer group which provides food and assistance to locals in need, and Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center.

[Please note as of 10-15-12, Rosemary Beach Uncorked 2012 is sold out.  If you didn't get tickets in time...remember to scoop them up early next year! You might find some for sale, or sell your extras on the SoWal Forum.]

Eight Rosemary Beach restaurants will each prepare three signature dishes to pair with three selected wines, for a total of 24 gourmet food and boutique wine pairings. Additionally, one “featured wine” will be highlighted at each location, specially selected by the chefs, wine makers and distributors.

Participating restaurants are Amavida Coffee, Cowgirl Kitchen, Edward’s Fine Food & Wine, La Crema Tapas & Chocolate, Onano Neighborhood Café, Restaurant Paradis, Summer Kitchen and Wild Olives Market/Bakery/Deli.

Participants are invited to visit each restaurant in the order of their choice during the designated four-hour event time frame. Advance tickets are $75 per person and may be purchased online at www.rosemarybeachuncorked.com. (SOLD OUT)

Getting to Rosemary Beach is more convenient than ever. Southwest Airlines now offers daily, non-stop flights into the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City, FL (a quick 20 minutes from Rosemary Beach!) from St. Louis, Baltimore, Orlando, Houston, and Nashville. The airline also offers semi-direct flights from Chicago, New York, Dallas and Ft. Lauderdale.
