Emerald Coast Theatre Company will perform Resurrecting van Gogh at Seaside Meeting Hall Theater on Friday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. Event proceeds will benefit the Arts in Medicine program at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast.

Martin was a medical student and oncology patient at Tulane University where he conducted groundbreaking research on sinonasal undifferentiated carcinoma (SNUC), the extremely rare form of cancer that eventually took his life.

The Walton County School District has voted to place a referendum on the August ballot that will give voters the opportunity to change the way the school superintendent is chosen.
