Celebrate July 4th in downtown DeFuniak Springs at their annual Celebration of Freedom! The All-American Parade around Lake DeFuniak will begin at 4PM followed by opening ceremonies and live music featuring the Okaloosa/Walton Mass Community Band at the Lakeyard Amphitheater. Food vendors will be onsite. Fireworks will begin to light up the sky between 8:30PM - 9PM.

The 2024 Big Scoop, benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, is set for Saturday, September 14th from 2pm - 4pm at Emerald Coast Harley Davidson in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The free, family-friendly event features all-you-can-eat ice cream, and other sweet treats. There will also be face painting, games, a touch tank experience from 'Little Adventures' and Emerald Coast Science Center and other activities.
