Boukou Groove @ Bric a Brac

The Bric a Brac is a new spot in Destin. The menu & vibe will be similar to the the Red Bar in Grayton Beach. Rodolfo & Fernando Petit have worked hard to open up their own restaraunt. Go check it out!

Boukou Groove is a collaboration between founders, guitarist Derwin “Big D” Perkins and Singer, Keyboardist, Moog Bass player Donnie Sundal. Their sound intertwines New Orleans Funk and Soulful R&B with a Jam Band Twist.

Hibiscus Brunch in the Backyard of Love

The Back Yard of Love is a beautiful and quaint little hidden gem in Grayton Beach. Situated on the grounds of Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse, under a canopy of old, majestic oaks, this cozy spot is the perfect place to enjoy Sunday brunch, some sweet tunes, and cold mimosas poured by one of South Walton's wonderful organizations raising money for a good cause. Healthy Watershed Workshop at Bayou Arts Center

Please join Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, UF/IFAS Extension, & Florida Sea Grant for a public workshop – Habitat Rx: Five Steps to a Healthy Watershed on MAR 20 from 5:30-7pm at Bayou Arts Center. 
 
This workshop will introduce the Habitat Rx program and provide homeowners with resources to improve their landscapes.  Topics will include watershed health and restoration, living shorelines, and invasive species. Learn how you can get involved in your community through projects like oyster reef construction and invasives removal throughout the upcoming year.

The Wildlife Specials @ La Playa

Scott Crompton and John Mark Turner have toured with blues-rock band Blues Old Stand for over 20 years now. The band has released two albums, and JM Turner released an album of his original tunes in 2010. Crompton most recently founded Blade Studios in Shreveport, LA with partner Brady Blade.  Blade Studios is a world-class recording facility where Crompton and Turner and their friends have been working on and recording new material for an upcoming release.  The duo performs locally as the WILDLIFE SPECIALS, and Turner plays bass with Destin favorite Cadillac Willy.
