The Emerald Coast’s 9th Annual Cattle Barons’ Ball will take place March 19, 2016 on the beautiful grounds of our Presenting Cattle Baron, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Linkside Center. The popular Western-themed event is focused on boots, jeans, hats and fun, all to raise funds to support the mission of the American Cancer Society. Dance ‘til the Cows Come Home with Live Entertainment by Continuum. 
 

Open Call Auditions will be held on December 14th and 15th for the 2016 Seaside REP Theatre season for ages 18 & up.

Auditions are held by appointment during the day and evening. 

Please email Aubrey@lovetherep.com to set up your appointment. Please prepare two contrasting monologues and 16 bars of a song, if you are a singer. If you are singing, please bring your own accompaniment as we will not be able to provide accompaniment at this time.

The annual Grayt Santa Pub Crawl takes place on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 3:00 p.m. starting at the Red Bar where participants will pick up wristabands and kick off the party. Wristbands are $75 each and available online now.

Grayt Santa Pub Crawl Schedule

The Bluewater Bay Marina Christmas Boat Parade will be held on Saturday, December 19, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Boats will leave the Bluewater Bay Marina and travel North to Nelson’s Cove, around Rocky Bayou and South to Rocky One marker then return to Bluewater Bay Marina.

Visit the Bluewater docks early and see the boats as they leave for the boat parade.

Kick off the Fourth of July holiday weekend at the 6th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival on Sunday, July 3 at 6 pm. Twenty area restaurants and BBQ aficionados will light up their grills to prepare their best dishes. For $1 per sampling, you get to vote for People’s Choice winners with proceeds benefiting local charities. 

Starting at 5 pm, take in the live entertainment from local favorites Heritage and Continuum.

Let the good times roll! The Mardi Gras Masquerade at Destin Commons is set to be huge, with a line up of over 30 floats and people on parade throughout the lifestyle center, Feb. 5 from 6-8 pm. Treasures, trinkets and beads will be plentiful throughout the Mardi Gras celebration. 
 
Lively entertainment will be provided by The New Orleans Ramblers. Kids can create their very own festive Mardi Gras accessories and have their faces painted for the best looking masquerade masks this side of New Orleans. 
 

V. Lala Galleries, located at 30Avenue in Inlet Beach, will host “An Evening of Art & Artists” on Saturday, December 12 from 4p.m to 7p.m.

The event will feature works by visiting artists Janet Berberich and Ben Jason Neal. Owners of Cincinnati, Ohio based Eye Candy Creative, their art spans an impressive array of mediums, with pieces in a variety of price points and styles for the avid collector or those looking for the perfect holiday gift.
