La Cocina Mexican Grill and Bar will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a block party on Sunday, May 4 from 2-7pm. The restaurant’s courtyard will come alive with a DJ, face painting, family friendly games, drink specials, and specialty plates.

Come out to First Note Memorial Day Weekend Concert Series at Seascape Resort May 23-24, 7pm. Food and beverage are available. Kids 10 and under enjoy free admission.

First Note Memorial Day Weekend Concerts feature tunes from Kaci Bolls, Britton Cameron, Benjy Davis, and Paul McDonald. Doors open at 6pm.

The Music in Pictures Community Festival will be held at South Walton High School May 18 from 2-5pm.

Music in Pictures, presented by Rosemary Beach Foundation, is an educational project and student art contest. Over 2,000 students from 17 schools listened to and visually interpreted works by classical comoposers. 300 paintings will be displayed Mar 17-Apr 25 at Amavida in Rosemary Beach, Santa Rosa Beach Coastal Library, Sacred Heart Hospital, and Summer Kitchen Cafe.

Come out to a special music event at The Bowery on Thirty-A in Blue Mountain Beach (Redfish Village) on Sunday, April 27 at 2pm.  The Cars of Destin Rally Run will end up at The Bowery to enjoy music by Emily Kopp and food and drink specials. Come in and check out SoWal's newest restaurant!
