Americana Concerts in the Lodge at Camp Helen State Park are back! Doors open at 6PM with the concert set to begin at 6:30pm on Saturday, January 11th, 2025. Snacks and beverages will be provided by the Friends of Camp Helen.

Tickets will be available for purchase for a suggested donation of $15 on the Friends of Camp Helen website, friendsofcamphelen.org beginning Friday, November, 29 at 8am.

Come and join Park Rangers at Camp Helen State Park for a moonlight paddle on Lake Powell, Florida’s largest coastal dune lake on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 7:30pm - 9pm. The experience will be a mostly quiet excursion led by Rangers and will give visitors a unique opportunity to view one of the rarest lakes in the world, while under a nearly full moon.

Advanced reservations are required to participate and can be done by calling Camp Helen State Park at (850) 233-5059. Program fee is $40.00 per person, CASH ONLY, EXACT CHANGE.

The City of Destin will host the International Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 21 from 8:00AM until 10:00AM. Featuring clean up contests with fun prizes, free event t-shirts, and a free post clean up breakfast served at some of our favorite local restaurants.
