Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition: Everglades to Okefenokee Jan 23

The Seaside Repertory Theater is featuring "Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition: Everglades to Okefenokee" on Thursday January 23 at 7:30 p.m.  The film documents four explorers who travel 1,000 miles from the Everglades to Okefenokee Swamp in 100 days. Escape to Create Celebrates 23rd Season of Artists and Performances

Seaside’s Escape To Create artist residency launches its 23rd season with the arrival of six artists selected from an international pool of applicants for the renowned creative retreat.

The only artist residency of its kind in the Florida Gulf Region, "E2C" and the community of Seaside have welcomed artists to Scenic 30A since 1993. Drawing audiences from throughout the southeast, a variety of cultural programs showcasing the multi-disciplinary artists are offered throughout this January and February.

Sinfonia Link Up Challenge to Fund Carnegie Hall Music Program for Area Students

The Sinfonia Gulf Coast Board of Directors has issued a “Link Up” donation challenge to the community. Through December 31, the board will match up to $5,000 total in new contributions. Funds will assist in covering the costs of bus transportation for the nearly 2,000 confirmed students, venue fees and orchestra costs associated with the organization’s collaboration with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute (WMI).

Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some) Returns to the REP

The Seaside Repertory Theatre is bringing back its traditional holiday play, Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some!), this December. Opening night will take place on Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m. Other showtimes in 2013 include, Dec. 5, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, and 21 - all at 7:30 p.m.  There will also be two matinee performances on Dec. 14 and 21 at 2 p.m.
