With the boom of interest in craft brewing, the Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival promises to be more popular than ever.

Award-winning Miramar Beach artist Kathleen Broaderick has a right to crow. Her plucky, proud red and blue “Patriot Rooster” painting has enabled her to strut her stuff onto the national art scene. 

The Market Shops Bloody Mary Festival marks Fall in South Walton on Saturday, October 7 from 11am til 2pm, benefitting Habitat for Humanity Walton County.

The third annual event will feature unlimited tastes of the Emerald Coast’s most creative and innovative Bloody Marys made with Cathead Vodka and served by the some of the best restaurants and bars on the Panhandle. Live entertainment by Luke Langford Band.

The South Walton Run/SUP Series 2017 takes place on Saturday, September 30 from 7:45 am til 1:00 pm at Grayton Beach State Park! Entering it's third year with a huge surge in popularity, Run/SUP is the perfect sports competition for our area combining  a scenic beach and dune run with a stand-up paddle across beautiful Western Lake. South Walton’s longest-established and award-winning restaurant, Bud & Alley’s, will host the 13th Annual Hurricane Party on Friday, Sept. 22nd from 6:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. with all proceeds benefiting Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Inc. (CVHN).

On the east side of South Walton just east of Inlet Beach, turn off Highway 98 and through the gate of Camp Helen State Park and be amazed how fast you go from freeway frenzy to total tranquility.
