Harvest Wine & Food Festival at WaterColor Nov 2-5

This November, a new wine and food festival is coming to the South Walton area. Produced by Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF), Harvest Wine & Food Festival is poised to be one of the Southeast’s premier fall events and will provide patrons the opportunity to sip and savor some of the world’s finest wine and culinary selections while enjoying the iconic beach town of WaterColor. Tickets available online at www.dcwaf.org/tickets. Absurd Form Exhibit & Reception at Justin Gaffrey Gallery Nov 9

South Walton artist Justin Gaffrey will be unveiling his new contemporary body of work, “Absurd Form” on Thursday, November 9 from 5pm til 8pm. The art opening will take place at the Justin Gaffrey Gallery located along Scenic Highway 30A in Blue Mountain Beach. The exhibition, small bites and adult beverages are complimentary and open to the public. 

Coastal Dune Lake Day at Grayton Beach State Park Oct 21

Walton County Coastal Dune Lake Advisory Board is hosting Coastal Dune Lake Day at Grayton Beach State Park on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 10:00 am til 2:00 pm. The community is invited to come out for a celebration of South Walton area coastal dune lakes on the shores of Western Lake in Grayton Beach. The Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance will have a booth full of information about how to protect the dune lakes, as well as a few tanks of native dune lake marine life. 

Century 21 Blue Marlin Golf Tournament Oct 20 to Benefit Five Local Charities

Take a swing for a good cause (actually five!) at Century 21 Blue Marlin's 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on October 20th at Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club, presented by the Henderson Beach Resort! In honor of five years, the annual tournament will benefit FIVE local charities: Alaqua Animal Refuge, Lighthouse Family Retreat, Special Olympics Florida - Okaloosa County, Trees on the Coast, and Youth Village. 

Annual Bloody Mary Festival Kickstarts Fall in SoWal Oct 7

The Market Shops Bloody Mary Festival marks Fall in South Walton on Saturday, October 7 from 11am til 2pm, benefitting Habitat for Humanity Walton County.

The third annual event will feature unlimited tastes of the Emerald Coast’s most creative and innovative Bloody Marys made with Cathead Vodka and served by the some of the best restaurants and bars on the Panhandle. Live entertainment by Luke Langford Band.
