Friends of Eden Gardens State Park are preparing for the annual celebration of the revered Camellias gracing the grounds of our unique park in Old Point Washington.

Spend the weekend falling in love with some of South Walton's most adorable, stunning, artistic and unique homes from beach to bay on Feb 18 and 19, 2017. Every year around Valentine's Day, SoWal lovers look forward to the Valentine Tour of Homes weekend.

Butter, garlic and green beans sizzle in a pan while a handful of marinated jumbo shrimp caramelizes on the grill. For the kitchen crew at Local Catch, making a meal is second nature.

Every year in February, whether the beach air is warm or thankfully chilly, the pots at the Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin are bubbling over with yummy gumbo of all types and flavors, brimming with unique and tasteful gumbo recipes from local restaurants and groups.

We're always excited to learn about new and exciting events in and around SoWal - and this one sounds like a winner. High end boats, gear, and lots more to explore next to Pier Park in Panama City Beach.

“La Lumière: A Masquerade Affair” will light up the night on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 6-10 p.m. at The LakeHouse on Western Lake in WaterColor. This is SoWal local Hannah Martin's 3rd Annual Birthday Bash benefitting Special Olympics of Florida - Walton County. Hannah is a Broker Associate with The Premiere Property Group and has established a great way to celebrate, and give back to our community on the same night.

The judging is complete and the official results are in for our 2016 "You're So SoWal if..." contest!

The Friends of Eden Gardens State Park invite the public to the annual Eden Gardens State Park Christmas Candlelight Open House on Saturday, December 17 from 5pm to 8pm. Enjoy the traditional walk through the luminaries through the Park to the Historic Wesley House and it’s beautifully decorated rooms. You'll be greeted by carolers and guided throughout the house to see and hear about each beautifully decorated room. Guests can even vote on their favorite room.
