South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival Expands Culinary Village

Wine isn’t the only star of South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival. Beginning April 28 through May 1, wine and food lovers will sip, swirl and nosh their way through the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Only, this year the Savor South Walton Culinary Village expands to include four convenient “Nosh Pavilions” peppered along the Boulevard and mixed into the wine tasting tents.

Visiting College Students Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Walton County

While many students will be enjoying relaxation and fun on our white sandy beaches and other spring break hot spots, Habitat for Humanity of Walton County, FL proudly welcomes their college spring breakers or as they call them, volunteers. With a well deserved break from classes and the stresses of college life, four campuses from across the United States are bringing students to our area to volunteer their time and efforts to support our local community and Habitat's great cause.

Building Homes for Heroes Wins Festival of Trees Prize

It's a repeat! Building Homes for Heroes took home Best of Show for the second year in a row at the 6th annual Festival of Trees at Grand Boulevard with their military themed Christmas Tree, complete with small wooden houses and flags. The design earned Building Homes for Heroes $2,500, aiding in their mission to build homes for returning disabled veterans.

Festival of Trees Kicks Off the Season at Grand Boulevard Nov. 24

It's a festive time of year in SoWal! Grand Boulevard’s sixth annual Festival of Trees will showcase 12 uniquely decorated Christmas trees from area non-profit organizations, Nov. 24 – Dec. 25 in Grand Park. Everyone's invited to join the fun and vote for their favorite tree! The winning charity will take home $2500 in prize money to help fulfill their mission.
