Join the community for a brief moment to honor the heroes and remember the fallen of Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Meet at the flag poles at 7am: on Patriots Circle at Destin Commons in front of Sephora store near Books-a-Million.
Breakfast by Whole Foods Market will be available from 7-7:30am. The program begins at 7:30am with guest speakers, raising of the flags and other moments of honor concluding at 8am. Donations of $10 accepted at the event.
All proceeds go to Emerald Coast Honor Games taking place on Nov. 11 in Destin, Florida. Emerald Coast Honor Games is an annual community based competition to benefit Okaloosa Sheriff's Star Charities, Healing Paws for Warriors, Special Forces Association, and the Combat Control Association.
