Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation presents the 22nd annual Concerts in the Village series. Join the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation every Thursday in May and June for the best live music performances around. Grab your family and friends, a lawn chair or purchase a VIP table and join us on the Village Green at Dugas Family Pavillion and get ready to DANCE! Tickets available at the door.
Gates open at 6pm. Concert starts at 7pm. Enjoy food trucks or feel free to pack up your favorite picnic food and drinks, raffles and the best shows around!

May 4: Emerald Gold, Niceville, FL
Lead vocalist, Rodney Wilson, performs his popular Motown Revue, including other genres of R&B, classic rock, and blues
May 11: Flow Tribe, New Orleans, LA
This group of rising artists performs second line brass and Cuban-Caribbean rhythms meld with R&B, soul, rock, and hip-hop beats in a high-energy performance.
May 18: Fountain City Players, Columbus, GA
This top notch group of musicians perform a wide range of music from Motown, Top 40, Pop, classic rock, oldies to variety songs
May 25: Alter Eagles, Largo, FL

June 15: Tyler Kinchen and the Right Pieces, Ponchatoula, LA
This emerging and dynamic group of musicians are making their mark with their energetic style of R&B and Funk! Yet it also taps into those umbrella categories of Jazz, Soul, World, Pop, Latin, Blues, and Folk.
June 22:Triggerproof, Gulfport, MS
Back by popular demand Triggerproof is a cover band with style that puts pop, rock and hip-hop through the musical blender to recreate both popular and classic radio friendly hits that appeal to everyone.
June 29: The Joe Band – Joe Cocker Tribute, Ann Harbor, MI
Powerhouse tribute to Joe Cocker – one of the greatest Rock icons of all time with favorite hits like “With a Little Help From My Friends”
General Admission is $15. FREE for MKAF members and children 12 years and under. Tickets available at the door. Gates open at 6 p.m. and concerts start at 7 p.m. for this come-as-you-are family-friendly outdoor concert series.
Bring a lawn chair and picnic. Fresh, affordable cuisine, including kids' fare is prepared on-site by a featured local restaurant or food trucks. Bottled water and soft drinks are also available for purchase. Sweet treats are also available.

The Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village is a multi-use complex providing entertainment, festivals, outdoor concerts, and other cultural events in Destin, Florida. You'll love the beautiful Village Green and Dugas Pavilion stage. The Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village is conveniently located in the heart of Destin, east of the historic Destin Harbor and west of Destin Commons. Parking and shuttle service is free.
MKAF News & Events 2017!
Concerts in the Village opened Spring 2017 like a "boss" with a Springsteen Tribute Band! The 22nd edition of Concerts in the Village continues with an exciting lineup of Summer 2017 performances, and new this year, the Concerts in the Village series will expand into fall with a Labor Day concert and a four-concert fall lineup on Thursdays from September 14 through October 5.
Festival of the Arts will return the Village Green for the 22nd annual edition and Sunday October 28 and 29.
And wrapping up the season is the beloved tradition of Sounds of Season, a joyful collaboration of several local community choirs and choral groups set for Friday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m at Village Baptist Church in Destin.
Popular fundraising traditions again will be hosted including the 7th Annual Celebrity Server Luncheon at Bonefish Grill in Destin in August (date TBA) and the 5th Annual Ruth’s Chris Wine Walkabout in Destin on Nov. 16, plus exciting new events such as the Emerald Coast Top Salon at Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa on April 7 and others yet to be announced. Proceeds from fundraising events benefit MKAF and its arts education outreach programs.
