Think about it. If people like you do not step up and help us, Huckabee could win, and then if the Republicans won the Presidency, what would you have? This is your chance to at least make sure that you are comfortable with the other choice. I am sure you have many Republican friends you can contact.
Point well taken, a way to balance (manipulate?) the final tickets, yet promote the best of each party.... Right now, I have way too many Repub. friends-- some of them are even Log Cabin Republicans (which is a stance makes no sense to me at all). Nevertyheless, that is a good point!

To me a real Republican should not have a problem with a Log Cabin Republican. The concern that the Republicans of today have with what people do in private goes against the tenet of small government and more personal responsibility. But I am told this makes me a moderate. I guess I am just an ultra conservative on fiscal issues. As for other stuff, to each his own.

Which is why the media (including Fox) is giving him so much flack. At the last debate on Thurs., Fred Thompson raised some of the exact same concerns over Huckabee's record that Mitt did. Has anyone heard a thing about Thompson "attacking" Huckabee? NO! It is amazing how much bias there is. The media is ruining the election process IMO.
The media has ran the election process for a long time. Nothing new there.
I did hear some peeps on Meet the Press or that other Sunday morning show with George Stephanopolis as host, mention that Thompson was attacking Huckabee. They thought that it might be something worked out behind the scenes for Thompson to rip a few people apart, then bow out of the race, sending his votes in one direction which he favors.
