Point well taken, a way to balance (manipulate?) the final tickets, yet promote the best of each party.... Right now, I have way too many Repub. friends-- some of them are even Log Cabin Republicans (which is a stance makes no sense to me at all). Nevertheless, that is a good point!

Here is a scary admission. I, hnooe2000, have to admit (although I really hate to do it), as a Nancy Pelosi/Ted Kennedy Democrat leaning toard Barack or Hill, that a Romney Presidency would be totally "stomachable" (especially in light of the last 8 years.--at least I would not have to look at the condescending, goofy grin and fake Texas bravado..whew!)

The media has ran the election process for a long time. Nothing new there.
