ecopal, what do you think about the video? They showed part of it on the Jay Leno Show last night. I find it interesting that Mitt was willing to debate the issue with the reporter. I think the other candidates would have kicked him out of the store or had him tazed. Personally, I think its good that the reporter has the guts to ask the question, and that Romney has the balls to not just smash him, but clarify his statement. Romney is just a politician, trying to target audiences with this or that information. Truth is they all juggle the truth and walk the gray line. I think that Romney handled it better than most candidates would have. I am a little surprised that the candidates don't put a few reporters with contrary views in their press meetings. They already know the questions which will be asked, and they could answer the questions focusing on the good points. I think it would win more audiences, and give a greater perception of balance, rather than the one-sided question and answer series we are used to seeing.
The reporter said it was all semantics, and that a lobbyist was running the campaign. I know he is at least right on part of it, poliTRICKS is all semantics.
