I liked both 3rd songs! Imagine was wonderful - didn't care for it when he sang it before but loved it tonight. The Collective Soul song was great too.
I love DC playing the guitar - he was hot tonight, DA's vocals tonight were awesome! Too close to call!
You're right about that. They both have beautiful voices. Somehow, though, David Cook touches me more when he sings. There's so much emotion in him. David A. will have that, too, as he grows older, but right now he's just a boy. David Cook is a man, and sings with a man's depth and breadth. I can just see him taking total command of the stage in a way David A. never could (not yet, at least).
I meant to say that.
I agree! What place did Carrie Underwood win?I don't think Taylor Hick's and Chris Daughtry's success (or lack thereof) had as much to do with winnning or not winning Idol as it did with talent.
Look at Carrie Underwood.
I meant to say that.

me too.

I did not get to watch like I had hoped. But from what I saw I think it will be a close race. I will still be a D. Cook fan and buy his cd.
Supermom - if any of the contestants can get a record deal then what is the "advantage" of being the idol. Maybe I should know this, but I don't![]()
I have heard people say it actually is better not to win for that very reason. Supposedly the non-winners (don't want to say losersI was wondering that, too, if it's really an "advantage" to win AI, given all the contractual obligations that the winner has to legally fulfil. Is the loser better off, then, in some ways?
) have lesser obligations that allow them to potentially earn more money sooner and/or do what they want. Though what I know of the music business in general doesn't have much to do with artistic freedom.
