No, but it's too bad he had to shoot an unarmed person and kill him when he could have just called the police.

Thank goodness it was a stranger killed instead of a family member - as is frequently the case w/ gun toting home defenders. :wave:

It is too bad but OTOH, when someone points a 12 gauge shotgun at you after you broke into their home and you charge them, you are sort of begging for it.

At least 10 dead in two-town Alabama shooting spree - CNN.com -- At least 10 people were killed Tuesday in a shooting spree that spanned two small southern Alabama towns, a state official confirmed.

The shooting started in a neighborhood in Samson, a town of about 3,000 people about 15 miles north of the Florida border, just after 4 p.m. (5 p.m. ET) and ended 15 miles away at a manufacturing plant in Geneva, said state Sen. Harri Anne Smith, who represents Geneva County.

"He was shooting at just ordinary people going about their business," Smith told CNN, saying she had been briefed by state and local law enforcement officials.
