I think you are caught up in the politics. Isis is to blame for those deaths. The previous administration negotiated with the Taliban for the withdrawal. Previous administrations put us at war and continued the war. This administration ended the war. Mistakes happened with each administration including this one. However the bottom line is that we no longer have a military presence in Afghanistan and that is good for many reasons. You do not have to follow the bitterness of our divided political system and you should accept that this needed to happen and it did happen. Hopefully we all grieve the loss of human life. I agree with you that it is time to move on.

Biden is Barney Fife, with a wonky gun and one bullet in his breast pocket…I think everyone who regularly voices their opinions in the sowal lounge has made their opinion's known about Biden's execution of the contract Trump signed with the Taliban. Just like everything else it seems it became political. If Biden had torn up the contract and began intense fighting with the Taliban there would have been American lives lost AND he would have been criticized politically and personally. Here is the reality of the State of the Nation. In politics those in power are always damned as in damned if you do and damned if you don't. However in terms of reality President Biden would have been better off following President Obama rather than President Trump. Please share with us who you yourself would rather have followed.
