Not a mention of the Navy. In fact I remember a news magazine report about gangs and the Army was the biggest problem. In fact you can belong to a gang and be very open about it in the military without any repercussions.
Actually the chiclets are pretty recent to sowal and many of us inherited them from the number of posts we had. They do go up based on number of posts as well.
Yes we can and we do. There are unisex restrooms in offices (my office being one) and malls (family restrooms) and in some countries it is the norm. Restrooms have panels and stalls that are designed to give you privacy. I'll bet you have no idea how many times you have stood beside a Gay person at a urinal and come out unscathed.
The thing that really puzzles me is why do so many like you believe being Gay is a third gender?

Many EMTs and Paramedics are also paid so low that they qualify for food stamps.....yet they act professional and don't assault each other due to their sexuality.
In regards to the military and my interaction. I have worked directly and slept in many close quarters through the years with military personnel active and retired. Again non-issue. Extremely professional, intelligent and caring about others.
Bottom line.....hard punishment for offenders are a great deterrent. The VAST majority of uniformed personnel are adult enough to behave professionally.
