I think maybe the answer would be, no golf carts on roads but on 30A have trolly's that people can get off and on at different stops

Dear well-meaning-brain-dead tourist driver in front of me, DON'T WAVE IN A TURNING GOLF FRONT IN FRONT OF YOU!!! :pissed:

We were moving along at a blistering 35 and now we are doing 12mph for 6 miles with 33 cars behind me!

In general the "nice" s**t in traffic needs to stop. We have traffic laws for a reason. This constant waiving people through or tourists who will go out of their way to stop to let another vehicle in or people to cross is about 25% of our traffic problem.

Also, if you're a making a left at an unlighted intersection onto 98 you are DEAD LAST for right of way.

On most of the roads that feed into Back Beach Road in Panama City Beach, there is a sign that golf carts are not allowed on US 98 / Panama City Beach Parkway. What would have to happen over here to get those type of signs on the county roads in SoWal? An ordinance?
I tried to take a picture of one last weekend but you pretty much have to pull over and I wasn't driving.
This wouldn't help 30A, but it would apply to the Karens I saw a couple of weeks ago in a LSV heading east on 98 with Publix bags on the back seat.
A couple of our beach towns don't allow them. I don't see why the county can't do the same.

Regarding ebikes, I’ve hardly ever seen anyone using the throttle, most seem to use the pedal assist. And even then a lot of regular bikes are passing by them. Because of a disability, I’m in the market for one myself.

Every one I've seen they are moving pretty fast using power but also usually moving the pedals. I guess that can make the battery last longer?

PA does use less battery. Most people I talk to say they use it so it kicks in when going over inclines and then they just pedal regularly in whatever gear they’re in. YMMV.
