How many Telephone Books does one need?

How many have been left at your house so far? We have THREE sets so far. Are these guys getting paid per book to drop them off? ChefEd tried to stop the guy from dropping them off today but he wouldn't take the da@#%# thing back. What are we supposed to do with all of these? I don't even use phone books, I use the internet.

Is the cover art any good on any of them? I liked the one a few years back with Gordie Hynd's painting on it. I keep that one in the condo.

If you garden you can tear the pages out and use them for mulch since they're biodegradable. Spread the pages out, cover with dirt or decorative mulch as a way of keeping the weeds down.

Yep, I think they are a huge waste. I use www.switchboard.com for most everything.

Found this cool little deal too that most you probably already know. It is a free service from Google. Send a txt mssg to 466453 that is Google's txt info service. I personally just made a contact named Google info. Anyway, if you send it a message like "movies 32459" or "Pizza by the Sea 32459" and yes you can use the city name too, it will send you back the listing. Normal txt rates apply from your carrier but it is free from Google.

If you don't like texting, or it's a mystery, you can call 1-800-GOOG-411 and use the automated system. It will call the number for you.
