First, let me say that I do not believe in animal cruelty. Today, I received a boycott email because this list of companies tests their products on animals. I just don't get it. :dunno: Can you help me understand the ones listed below. The original list was much larger, but I am curious about these.

Calvin Klein & Adidas - are they trying on outfits? Arm&Hammer - are they whitening their teeth?Charmin, Cottonelle, & Kleenex - Don't tell me they are wiping monkey butts and blowing their noses.
Colgate & Crest - Are they brushing their teeth?
Eukanuba - Don't tell me that they are feeding the dogs dogfood?
Folgers - My dog loves coffee
Iams - maybe testing out some cat food on some cats?
Pantene- I often use Pantene to wash my dogs, and it seems to do their skin and hair well.

Well I tried to get my pudgy ass in a pair of CalvinKlein low rise jeans last weekend at the Outlet Mall, -don't tell me about animal cruelty.

Let's just say that the Cheekmonks were not getting in that cage.

...............need I go into details about the impact on their stored nuts?

Cafe Au 'Gay

Brewed coffee, preferably dark French roast with chicory, with half scalded -- NOT steamed -- milk, poured together from two pots.

To heat milk, scald over low heat in a sauce pan just until a thin film forms. Alternately, you can scald the milk in the microwave. Just fill a mug ? full of milk and heat until hot (about 40 seconds).

Add one shot of your favorite liqueur.

Will you be a sweetie and tell me what are the proportions for making coffee? The man of the house--he who serves me coffee in bed each morning--is out of town for the week and I am at your mercy. I am forced to make my own coffee boohooooo. I tried this morning and it was a total disaster. I poured out 3 cups of water and 2 scoops of coffee and it brewed up to make p*ss water. I know it's not the coffee because I always buy good stuff so obviously I got the water wrong.

Help.

You will be doing a service for humanity. :D

One level tablespoon of coffee per cup is the standard and works well regardless of your coffee maker.

But least we be accused of letting yet another thread go awry- I recommend that you first test your coffee on any available animal before drinking it yourself.
