Lady D, let us know how you are doing this morning. It is not snowing in SoWal, but very windy and much colder. Curious if any snowflakes in NoWal overnight and this am. Looks like the drive home from the Seaside Run could be snowy for those heading up 331 or 231 into Alabama and Georgia.

Hey Dunelaker, I am fine this morning. :D We got around 4 or 5 inches of snow, drifts in spots show 6 inches. Really beautiful. It is really heavy in the trees. Will melt off later today as it is going to be in the upper 30's, so I was out this morning taking many pictures. This is the second snow in a row we have had in March. We had 6 or 7 inches last March 7th. I have put photos in the photo section of the board for those who want to see them. Enjoy.

It was beautiful once I was able to get home. Nothing like leaving Sowal and driving into a Snow storm, not what I expected in the least. Especially after having to avoid the tornadoes in Alabama on my way home. I had to detour over into Mississippi.

We had about 6-8 inches on our picnic table. It was one of the prettiest snows we have gotten in a long time and really did not make the streets too bad except for bridges.

There is an owl in the backyard that didn't like the snow at all. He/she hooted all morning.

Pepper liked the snow. She was eating it. But she didn't shake her body to get off the snow. Weird. Never seen a dog not do that. Also she didn't run in it. Every other dog we've had loved to run in the snow.

I did measure 6" in a few spots in our yard. Minnie, they were showing Ellendale having 9.3", Arlington, 10" and would you believe they showed Oakland having 18". I do not believe that. But they are areas outside the city limits with many streets less travelled.
