Wow! What a thread. I am truly inspired to do something as well. Where to start? Change eating diet for a bit, then push play.....

Skunkape, you haven't posted on this thread since the box arrived....a week ago. That was back on 8/8. Are you ready to sell it to me unopened or are you secretly closing in on day 90 and about to amaze us all?

I am a bit afraid to start any program this time of the year as it is holiday season.

I'd like to toss it our for discussion. How are some of you dedicated folks adjusting for the holiday season? Do you deny yourself? Do you crank up the workouts to overcome the additional calories? Do you just plan to work it off after the first of the year? Might help some of us lurkers to know we can survive the next two months somehow.

Keep on keeping it up Bobby J! It's pretty cool to see the timeline of this thread and how many have had their struggles, but keep coming back for inspiration.

About to do day 34. Legs and back. A little banged up from lots of surf and fortunately pushed through the workouts even after surfing. I gotta tell you, I could not have done that in the past. Surfing 3-4 hours is normally enough but this p90x thing can really bring your fitness to another level! I appreciate all the kind words but really all I do is push play, do my best, and forget the rest.... It is that simple. Not to mention I have quite a past with 90 day programs. LOL! ;-)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for the inspiration !!!

I'm a mom of 2 preschoolers and while I've always worked out, I was getting bored w/ my options. Most of my workouts have been cardio-for the past couple years... it's easiest to just put on the sneaks for a run while the kids are chillin. Did yoga when I could but was looking to get back into weights. So I was overdoing the cardio and just needed something else. Tho, I'd love to have a trainer, just can't afford it as a SAHM.

Can't say anything but AWESOME things about P90x. I can do it any time the kids are calm @ the house or even at Destin Health and Fitness. Haven't been able to really stick to the planned schedule of workouts cause everything depends on what the kiddos are up to, but have got to say that at 41, I'm stronger and fitter than I've been since HS volleyball. THANK YOU AGAIN... You all ROCK!!!

Love hearing how everyone is doing on the programs!!

About to do day 60. I take a day off when I surf and go back to the day I was on is the only option I make. I really look forward to wrapping up these 90 days. I agree with the above poster. These programs are amazing and offer complete body workouts without having to leave the home! 42 and also in the best shape of my life!:D

Enjoy your workout!!! Looks like my option is gonna be doing Kenpo w/ the kidos while my mr. finishes hanging up the outside lights. He's gotta get his chores done b4 the Steelers come on @ noon. Would love to folllow the 90 day schedule, but mixing up the options is working pretty well.

I think mixing them up is a great option. Heck, just doing one is a great option! I had a friend do Plyo last night with me for the first time. I await the phone call this am.... :yikes: Can you say sore!

I have been totally intermittent on Power90. I took some time to rebuild my running base so I could start training for the Seaside Half. Running again has been so rewarding (and difficult). I love the trails in Watercolor and am actually looking forward (with trepidation) to doing long runs in the upcoming months. This morning's cold weather run was a bit masochistic. :yikes:

Now that I have my running base I am incorporating Power90 again. Pushing play on day one now.

Once you start, NEVER NEVER NEVER stop! The start up is so painful. If you stop pushing play, that first few minutes is like you have rewound yourself back months. If you walk in the middle of a run, those first few steps your legs feel like they are going to shatter.
AHHH, but the finish is awesome.
