Make sure you take a day off every week. Eat right is just as important as the workout and take your time on the next level. Make sure you got those push ups and squats down. I would recommend trying the next one and don't be upset if some days you feel like the first one. I will be out of touch until Tuesday and may not be able to check on you but will be thinking about the next time we chat you will have over 14 days I believe! Keep it up! Push Play! And if you start to burn out come do it with Bev. She loves to workout with a partner. These 90 days can change your body and your life! I am cheering you on from an undisclosed location!

Me thinks Bobby J is going surfing!

Thanks for the support! I've got the squats down and push ups are getting better except the 7, 7,7. ..those close ones still kick my butt!

We are taking the kayaks over to St. Joe Sunday and Monday but will take the dvd's with us too. Workout, paddle, scallop, repeat!

Struggled through the workout today but it felt good to stretch my aching muscles. Saturday was a workout, run and kayak loading day. I tried to bump up to 2-4 circuit but am not ready for the pushups. Sunday was stair running and loading/unloading the car for our vacation followed by kayak unloading, paddling and loading. Yesterday more of the same and I came home so tired and sore. It doesn't help that I was thrown off the side of the vehicle while loading a kayak on Saturday. I wonder how many calories are burned and what muscle groups are used putting kayaks onto and taking them off of a Discovery? I did that exercise 4 times a day for three days.

You may need a few days break if you get real sore or like the video says just push play and go through the motions. That 2-4 can be a killer if your head is not ready. Take your time with it. How is it going and what day are you on? Bev and I are getting ready for PX90.

Day 15. We definitely do not need a break. We didn't workout two days in a row due to our trip and we could tell it last night when we did work out. Of course we are still feeling the effects of all of the lifting and hauling we did while on vacation. We had to take a huge kayak to a friend's yesterday and I swear if I have to climb up the side of that @##%@ Discovery with a kayak ONE MORE TIME I'm going to come unglued. That could be a workout video in itself.

I'm not ready to step up yet as the pushups are not all there. I'm working with a friend who is a trainer on some modified pushups to help build up one shoulder that was injured long ago and still gives me problems.

Yesterday I did the fat burning workout nice and easy in the morning just to get all stretched out and moving. We did the 1-2 circuit last night and it was good.
I HATE resistance bands. :bang: We are going out to buy a second set of weights today so we don't have to keep taking turns with those things. I don't feel like I get the right form and they really hurt my shoulder on the back scratchers and swimmer's press.

Good luck with P90X and keep posting on that one. I'd be really interested in your progress.

This thread is being stalked!!!! I've heard that a tall, lanky fella is keeping up with our workouts. I think I'll have to arm wrestle him at the end of this!
Any rumor that there will ever be before and after photos posted is completely unfounded. But there will be photos from the finish line at the Coosa River Challenge in October!

So what do you do when you are done and in the best shape of your life?

I know from experience that you can get good, quick results from something like this. I was in great shape about 18 months ago (for me, anyway, and I slowly slipped backwards ... gained about 12 pounds back, got kinda soft, ate too much).

I'm turning it around before I get too much out of hand. I've been in the gym and am seeing some good results. But after the 90 days when you look ripped like Hulk, how do you keep it up? Doesn't your body get used to the workouts? Can you maintain that way or do you have to constantly mix it up?

Mr. TFT is a triathlete so he has no problem with maintenance. Me, I just get kinda bored and thus slip back. I want to do better this time.

Kudos to all of you, by the way. :D
