I've always pictured you with long hair. ;-) Like a grown up version of Kate.

I wish. Have had boy-short hair for years. It was my goal to have a pony tail when I turned 40, then 40 came and went. I'm trying again....we'll see. Patience is NOT my virtue.

BR,
I don't know if you would like Sap Moss. You keep mentioning that your hair is thin, etc. The SM will weigh it down, big time. It really works well for people who have unruly or very dry hair. Or hair that's had a lot of chemical processing, color, etc.

I used to use Bumble & Bumble, too, but like Aveda a lot better.

JD, I wore mine that short for years...shaved up the back when that was in style. Then when I had kids it was so hard to keep up with the cut let alone the expense. My stylist kept getting awards/promotions/job title changes /whatever and every time he did it would bump up the price by like $5. So haircuts were up to $46. Now I get my haircut about every 3 months. I get a little lazy and wear it in a ponytail quite a bit. Sometimes I wonder if I'm too old for that.
I always had bangs until a few years ago and my stylist really helped when I grew them out. He cut them a certain way so they would stay to the side and it made it so easy. Good luck, you can do it.

jdarg, that was me, too! With really curly hair, super short was always the easiest for me, and it really suited me. It looked very similar to the way Halle Berry used to wear hers, though I say we only resemble each other in the hair department, sadly.
I wanted something a little different, "longer," too, as I got older, so I toughed it out and grew it some. I did get a chemical smoothing process done during that time, and that helped me not go completely nuts in the process.
If you saw the pic of my 6-year-old's birthday, you'll kind of see what it looks like now thanks to a little growth and the flat iron.

I wish my hair would look like yours- maybe I'll print the pic and take it with me- next haircut! It was way more fun short-short- now it's marmy schmarmy growing out & boring! Guess my new goal should be "Ponytail by age 45". My hair will have to be halfway down my back to wrap around my huge head. I wonder if I am related to LL!
