That can't be in the Mayo cookbook.
So far today I have had:
Oatmeal
1 apple
watermelon (big bowl)
2 large handfuls of peanuts
bowl of tortilla soup, with chips
Guess I am pucked for the day, huh? This should have been enough food for the whole day, not just before lunch!![]()

I started WW last year (Jan07) I wasn't losing quickly and got frustrated and stopped. I have all the books, charts etc...I will probably resume that after my SpecialK loss of an inch in 2 weeks.
I've also done South Beach and probably been the most successful with that. I had a real energy problem without the carbs.
Today I found a really good station on tv that does a yoga/aerobics workout everyday at noon. I really got a good workout today and then walked a mile or so. You wouldn't believe what sunshine and warmth does for me. It's the biggest motivator.
I'm happy to have support here!!!
Today I've had:
Coffee
a bowl of cereal
snack bar
lots of water
getting ready to have lunch...a yummy meal bar.
Dinner tonight will be something on the grill and veggies.
I swear I lived on carbs before...I love bread and pasta...
OL, I hear ya about the lack of energy without carbs. I am on South Beach Phase 1 (I did cheat and have a gorgonzola burger at Flip-Flops on Saturday). This diet pretty much limits me to lean meats, low-fat milk/cheese/yogurt, certain nuts, veggies (except carrots and potatoes), eggs, no fruit, no carbs. Now it's time for my yearly hemoccult test. That means no red meat, raw fruit or raw vegetables, or Vitamin C for three days before the testing and during the testing which will also take roughly three days. I can't even have a flippin' salad! So today I had yogurt for breakfast, a piece of grilled chicken for lunch, and some deli turkey and low-fat cheese for dinner -- too lazy to cook veggies with hubby gone.
I plan to stay on Phase 1 until I lose the weight I gained sin
ce Mom broke her hip, had surgery, etc. I was on the road all of the time with no time to cook, so we ate a lot of pizza and Mexican food.
I am so hungry I could eat my arm off.
I hear ya...I miss my night time tv snacking. So I'm sowalling on the laptop while watching the Bachelor.I'll have to plan a healthy lunch soon. of course we'll have to eat chicago italian bread and butter.
