Wow, there are some romantic and thoughtful husbands on this board.
My guy only comes up with grand gestures about every 10 years, and they are not quite on BR's level. Every now and then (stress on then ;-)) he'll empty the dishwasher.
He's still riding high on one thing he did years ago that was a biggie for me.
I love my music in the car. I play it lung-bruisingly loud, which must look pretty weird, this 51 year old rocking out to Red Hot Chili Peppers or whatever in her Volvo wagon.
Anyway, for one Christmas, he borrowed the car, had a really cool brand new CD player and speakers put in, and had it all taken care of by the time we picked up friends for dinner. I know this does not sound romantic, but I really appreciated it!

...works for me!!!! Mr. Kitty is very thoughtful and generous. I am very lucky...especially when he takes Molly out for a long walk. He also balances the checkbook after I pay the bills. He also cooks for me now and that is SO wonderful.
