Well that really suks Darlene. :sosad: All that hard work, but at least they weren't there and no one was harmed if you look on the bright side and they didn't lose any family memoirs or belongings that had special meaning.

Similar incident happened to my sister in law.
Brand new house and they were in it for about a year and the electrical was faulty. They weren't home thank goodness. But they had to buy all new clothes, furniture, you name it and live in a rental until the house was rebuilt, and they and the kids were rather traumatized for a while.

I think you need to come to the soiree next weekend and take a break.
Hugs here..........

^^^What she said...hail, what they all said!! Good grief, Darlene!!! What a week you've had!! Hope things get better for you!!! A big hug from me too!!

It is way out in the country in Cullman, Alabama. Actually, it is out in middle of nowhere. It is my brothers property and he deeded an acre to my dad to move on when he sales his place in Old Town, Fl. They had the campers there because they stayed there on the weekends while they were working on the house. No one was there at the time, so thankfully no one was hurt.

Thank you all so much for your love, prayers, and concerns. I will keep you updated as I get information from my family.

So sorry to hear of this. BTW, our family is from Cullman.

Sometimes life treats you well, and sometimes it doesn't. Not that you and your family deserve it. Sorry sorry Darlene about this god-awful week. :sosad:

Well good, if you still have family there we are going to need help re-building a house when you are in town. ;-)

Seriously though, I appreciate all the concerns. All is going to be ok. You know I always say something good comes out of something bad, and I believe that with all my heart. I talked to my brother a few minutes ago and he and my SIL are doing really good despite everything. He told me to get my boots and jeans ready to help them rebuild. So when that time comes, that is just what I am going to do. Our whole family will help them rebuild and it will be a labor of love. I will keep you all updated with pictures when we begin.

 to all of you!!!!

Yikes KD. Just catching up and saw this thread and the other.  So, so sorry on all counts. I'm keeping your family (and you) in my thoughts and prayers. Insurance is great, but it doesn't help the lives being disrupted. Take it easy, all of you.
