Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, voted the #1 Resort on Florida’s Emerald Coast is hosting a golf tournament fundraiser at The Raven Golf Club slated for Sunday, April 28, 2013 as part of the Destin Relay for Life Team to benefit the American Cancer Society.

To support the American Cancer Society, resort guests and the public can golf at The Raven Golf Club for a special rate of $80. A portion of the proceeds will support research, patient services, early detection, treatment and education for cancer patients.

“Cancer touches home to so many people in our lives,” said Rick Hileman, director of golf for Sandestin. “It’s important for Sandestin and its employees to have the opportunity to support such a worthwhile cause like the American Cancer Society.”

Golfers can also make a donation to support Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort’s Relay for Life team.

Local residents, guests and visitors are welcome to participate. Tee times are available all day and can be made by calling 850-267-8155.
