Make plans to come out to Food For Thought headquarters for a Stock the Pantry Party on AUG 28, 5:30-7:30pm. Food For Thought Outreach is gearing up for the school year by stocking up on everything needed by local kids in Walton and Okaloosa Counties.
Last school year, Food for Thought Outreach served 550 children in 7 schools throughout Walton and Okaloosa counties. Volunteers delivered 57,000 backpacks containing over 350,000 food items, filling the evening and weekend gaps for children who may not have enough to eat otherwise.
Food For Thought's community outreach is growing and needs your help! Come out with friends and family for pizza donated by Pizza by the Sea, drinks and fun. Plan to bring your $5 donation or 5 pantry items as follows:
