3rd Annual WAM! (Women and Money) Conference May 11

Shelter House Domestic Violence Center hosts the 3rd Annual WAM! (Women and Money) Conference on May 11 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Costa Leadership Institute at Northwest Florida State College's Niceville Campus at 100 College Blvd E.
The WAM! Conference focuses on empowering women to take control of their finances. The conference offers breakout workshops on organizing your finances, cooking on a budget, investing, retirement planning, insurance, entrepreneurship and empowerment. Author, entrepreneur and host of the upcoming PBS series “The Entrepreneurs”, Joe Abraham will deliver the keynote address entitled “Discovering and Nurturing the Entrepreneur within You and Your Family”. This session will help attendees identify entrepreneurial traits within themselves and equip them with strategies for using those skills in every aspect of life.
The conference registration fee is $25 per person or $40 per mother/daughter team in honor of Mother’s Day weekend and includes all workshops, breakfast and lunch. Free childcare will be provided on-site. Scholarships are available.
