Osaka Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar to Debut in Pier Park

Osaka Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar has officially broken ground on the new Panama City Beach location at Pier Park. The new Pier Park location will be Osaka’s third location, owned by Destin residents, Michael and Annie Chou.   

Guests will be greeted by a beautiful Japanese entry garden and an expansive bar area. The restaurant will feature 16 Hibachi tables, along with private dining options.  The 10,000 square foot restaurant will accommodate 250 guests and generate approximately 40 new jobs for the Panama City Beach market.  The restaurant is projected to open in April or May of 2015.

 
“Osaka is my pride and joy,” said owner, Michael Chou.  “I started over 20 years ago in Tallahassee before expanding to Destin in 2003. The Panama City Beach market is booming, so we felt it was the perfect place to add a third location to the Osaka family.”
 
Osaka takes pride in the quality of their menu offerings, using only locally grown organic produce, fresh gulf seafood and the highest quality beef. Similar to the restaurant’s other locations, Osaka Panama City Beach will offer hibachi and sushi daily for lunch and dinner.
 
Open daily for lunch and dinner, Osaka offers guests hibachi, a full service bar, and sushi and sashimi from their expansive sushi bar. Specializing in celebrations including birthdays, weddings and anniversaries, Osaka Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar locations include Tallahassee, Florida, Destin, Florida, and in spring 2015, Panama City Beach, Florida.
