Sinfonia Gulf Coast Crescendo! And Upcoming Shows 2023

Sinfonia Gulf Coast is the Emerald Coast's only fully professional symphony orchestra. Founded in 2005 with the mission of redefining the symphony experience, Sinfonia is committed to entertaining, educating and inspiring the community through imaginative and innovative musical programming.

The symphony orchestra, led by Music and Artistic Director Demetrius Fuller, presents an in demand lineup of concerts, guest artists and educational initiatives from classical masterpieces to the annual holiday pops. 

Educational outreach remains at the forefront of Sinfonia’s mission. The Sinfonia Youth Orchestra program is the premier training orchestra in Northwest Florida. The orchestra program strives to create a culture of community, collaboration,  and cultivation by ensuring that each member has an empowering musical experience through participation in the orchestras.

Since its founding, Sinfonia Gulf Coast redefines charitable events with energy-infused experiences. The organization has collaborated with numerous nonprofits and businesses throughout the community. Sinfonia’s signature event, Crescendo! is an exciting cultural and culinary arts extravaganza not to be missed.

Sinfonia’s goal is to enrich and expand the traditional orchestral experience through unique artistic disciplines and collaborations, enhancing Northwest Florida's cultural vitality. Get Happy celebrates the life and artistry of the legendary Judy Garland. Her Carnegie Hall debut in 1961 has become one of the most storied evenings in the Hall’s history, the live recording going on to win five Grammy Awards, making Garland the first solo woman to win the coveted Album of the Year. Broadway and recording artist sensation Morgan James brings Garland’s unforgettable songbook back to life. Straight from Broadway's revival of Company, Nicholas Rodriguez joins Ms. James on stage. Accompanied by rare performance footage and interviews in this one-night-only celebration of an artist whose legacy continues to inspire fans around the world.

Vintner Dinners are hosted in elegant private homes, restaurants, and resort hotels throughout the region featuring some of the country’s most exclusive vineyards that have included Darioush, Frias Family Vineyards, Oakville Ranch, Fleury Estate, Thompson 31Fifty, Chateau Gaby, Bouchaine and others. Culinary maestros have included top chefs from the Gulf Coast region and beyond such as Jack McGuckin of Bijoux Restaurant + Spirits, Tim Creehan, Chef/Owner of Cuvée 30A, Jude Tauzin, Executive Chef of Tony Cachere, Dan Vargo, Chef/Owner of Fine Coastal Cuisine and Fleetwood Covington of Seagar's Prime Steaks & Seafood. New Zealand-born violinist Geneva Lewis has forged a reputation as a musician of consummate artistry whose performances speak from and to the heart. Lauded for “remarkable mastery of her instrument” (CVNC) and hailed as “clearly one to watch” (Musical America), Geneva is the recipient of a 2022 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award, 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant, and Grand Prize winner of the 2020 Concert Artists Guild Competition. Deeply passionate about collaboration, Geneva has had the pleasure of performing with prominent musicians such as Jonathan Biss, Glenn Dicterow, Miriam Fried, Kim Kashkashian, Gidon Kremer, Marcy Rosen, Sir András Schiff, and Mitsuko Uchida, among many others.

Beethoven V. Coldplay
A Merging of Musical Giants

Beethoven V. Coldplay transforms the Eroica into an oratorio, weaving the melodies and lyrics of Coldplay into the original Beethoven, pairing them together based on content and context. It is the alternate Eroica Beethoven may have created had he known the music of Coldplay at the time. Many of Coldplay’s most well-known songs are interpolated, including Yellow, Viva La Vida, Clocks and The Scientist.
