The latest real estate report for November 2013 in Walton County shows the market continues to improve and in some areas is downright hot. The number of sales are up and so is the percentage of original listing price that sellers are receiving on closed sales. This shows that sellers are in a good position and buyers are active.
The percentage of cash sales is up a whopping 31% compared to November of last year. This statistic is simply another way of viewing cash cales.The remaining percentages of closed sales (i.e. those not paid fully in cash) each month involved some sort of financing, such as mortgages, owner/seller financing, assumed loans, etc.
