The 3rd Annual 30A Wine Festival returns to Alys Beach March 7-9 with a showcase of premiere wine producers and culinary favorites. The three-day festival features live music, wine tasting seminars, and wine & culinary grand tastings in one of the most beautiful settings on Florida's Gulf Coast.

Alys Beach will kick off the third annual 30A Wine Festival benefiting Children’s Volunteer Health Network, with Bourbon, Beer, and Butts on Friday, Mar. 7 from 6 - 9 p.m. at Fonville Press. Alys Beach will be rocking with music by Sam Bush, Boukou Groove, and Dread Clampitt and beer will be flowing from Grayton Beer Company, Oyster City Brewing Company, and Sweetwater Brewing Company. The “B3” event will also feature bourbon from a number of distilleries, including Wild Turkey, Four Roses, and High West.

On Saturday, Mar. 8, from 12:30 to 2:30, wine seminars will be presented at Caliza Pool by Catherine Miles with Broadbent Selections, Luis Reyneri with Domaine Serene, and Andrew Perelli-Minetti with Mario Perelli-Minetti. Later in the afternoon, head over to the Wine Walkabout along the Pedestrian Path of Alys Beach from 3 - 5 p.m. to taste domestic and international wines. Festival attendees will also enjoy tastings from Caliza Restaurant, Seagar’s, Bud and Alley's, and Acre during the walkabout. Some of the tastings will include butterbean and sweet corn salad with pimento goat cheese dressing, basil and benee crackers from Acre, and brussel sprouts stuffed with goat cheese and dried cherry from Caliza.

From 5 - 8 p.m., wine enthusiasts head to Central Park to mingle in an after party under the stars, featuring live music by Cadillac Willy and tastings from Bud and Alley’s, Acre, Seagar’s, Caliza Restaurant, and sweet treats from Chanticleer Eatery and Bakery, and Sweet Henrietta’s. Wine may be purchased in the retail tent during and after the Walkabout or at the cash bar for the after party.

Finish off the perfect weekend on Sunday with the Pork and Pinot event, sponsored by Café Thirty-A, featuring croquet on Kelly Green from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Café Thirty-A will roast a whole pig and offer delights such as black beans and rice, vegetable stir-fry, papaya and avocado salad, and Hawaiian bread. Wine is included during this event.

One of the most beautiful new towns in the world, Alys Beach is located on Scenic Highway 30A in Florida’s panhandle, along what The New York Times said “may be the best beach in the continental U.S.” The resort town’s extraordinary architectural vision drew inspirations from both Bermuda and the family courtyard homes of Antigua, Guatemala.
