Volunteer For Earth Day Coastal Cleanup April 29

The Walton County Tourism Department is partnering with Surf Hut and Okaloosa County to complete a coastal cleanup on Earth Day Saturday, April 29 from 8 - 10 a.m.

Both residents and visitors are encouraged to participate. There will be cleanup contests with fun prizes, free event t-shirts and a free post cleanup breakfast served at some of our favorite local restaurants.

T-shirts and breakfast will be limited in quantity, so make sure to register online and show up on time!

Cleanup Locations include:

    The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island
    The Crab Trap/James Lee Park
    The Surf Hut
    Norriego Point
    Clement Taylor Park
    Henderson Beach State Park

Breakfast locations include:

    The Crab Trap, Okaloosa Island
    The Crab Trap, Destin
    The Surf Hut, Miramar Beach

Join the Northwest Florida community in their participation in the world’s largest volunteer effort on behalf of ocean health.

Bring your own bucket, mesh bag, gloves and trash grabbers!

Also, don't forget your water bottle and sun protection!
