The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) announces the first-ever Art Week South Walton (AWSW), an initiative bringing together neighborhoods, organizations and businesses to present quality arts and entertainment. Sponsored by Visit South Walton, 2016 Art Week includes ArtsQuest, Digital Graffiti, ECLive! and the Seaside Writers Conference, and will take place May 7th-20th in venues throughout South Walton.
The twenty-eighth year of ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival takes place throughout Grand Boulevard's town center May 7 & 8. The arts festival exhibits the work of over 200 fine artists from around the country. Celebrating the arts is a Mother's Day weekend tradition in South Walton, Florida.

A Better South Walton, Inc. (ABSW), a nonprofit organization founded to seek more effective governance and local representation for South Walton, is holding three community meetings to discuss the key findings of the preliminary feasibility study and the opportunities it gives the community. These meetings will give the community the chance to get the information surrounding the ABSW initiative, ask questions and voice their concerns.

Everyone's invited to join the 9th Annual YOLO Board Relay Series kicking off Thursday, May 19 at The Bay restaurant on the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay. The relay event begins at 4:30 p.m.and will include race relays, giveaways, live music, refreshments and fun activities for kids.
The Market Shops in Miramar Beach will host the inaugural Cattle Barons' Pig Roast benefitting American Cancer Society on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. It's a pig pickin' with cold drinks and live music on the lawn as a way of saying thanks for all of your support. CAA's first member artist co-op gallery to open May 23 in The Market Shops! The Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County announces the opening of the Foster Gallery, a CAA member artist co-op gallery located in The Market Shops next to DIG Eatery and the new Ben & Jerry's. Twelve artists will be chosen to exhibit and work in the gallery during the Summer 2016 exhibit, May 23 - August 26.
