The 20th edition of the annual Rags To Riches Regatta returns to Grayton Beach on July 2, 2016 in celebration of American Independence Day. The small catamaran race is a tradition among SoWal sailors, families, friends, and Grayton Beach lovers.

Race registration begins at 8 A.M. on the beach at the Grayton Beach access behind the Red Bar with a Captains' meeting at 11 A.M. and the race beginning soon after that.

The latest real estate report for May 2016 includes statistics for single family homes, townhomes, and condos in Walton County, Florida. Single family closed sales were up 10% for May compared to the same month last year. The percentage of closed sales paid in cash was down 11%. Inventory was up 3%. Median sales price was down 6%.

The weather is great, the fish are biting and there are lots of folks that want to go on the water. I am up at 3:30, on the beach at 5, finishing up around 7 and in bed by 8:30.

Inventory was down 2%. Median sales price was up 9%.
