Rags to Riches Regatta At Grayton Beach July 2

The 20th edition of the annual Rags To Riches Regatta returns to Grayton Beach on July 2, 2016 in celebration of American Independence Day. The small catamaran race is a tradition among SoWal sailors, families, friends, and Grayton Beach lovers.

Race registration begins at 8 A.M. on the beach at the Grayton Beach access behind the Red Bar with a Captains' meeting at 11 A.M. and the race beginning soon after that.

No Time For Anything but Fishin'

It's that time of the year when I have no time for anything but fishin'!

The weather is great, the fish are biting and there are lots of folks that want to go on the water. I am up at 3:30, on the beach at 5, finishing up around 7 and in bed by 8:30.

It's been a while since I wrote a report but this is still gonna be kinda thin on words... I have been running the "other" boat with the federal permit so I can fish my folks past the 9 fence when the fish decide that's where we need to be.

Walton County Florida Real Estate Report for April 2016

The latest real estate report for April 2016 includes statistics for single family homes, townhomes, and condos in Walton County, Florida. Single family closed sales were up a whopping 23% for April compared to the same month last year. Just as surprising is that the percentage of closed sales paid in cash was also up 23%. Inventory was down 2%. Median sales price was up 9%.
