A dazzling roster of more than a dozen celebrity winemakers, brew masters, distillers, chefs and entertainers, will converge in South Walton to wine, dine, educate and entertain guests as part of the four-day celebration of wine during the 2016 South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival held April 28-May 1, 2016 throughout the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin.
As Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Inc. (CVHN) continues its mission to improve the lives of children in need, two of their programs reached a major milestone last month. The CVHN Dental Clinic located in Santa Rosa Beach and the Just for Grins Mobile Dental Clinic each reached $2 million in free services provided to children in need in Walton and Okaloosa Counties.

Beginning April 28 through May 1, wine and food lovers will sip, swirl and nosh their way through the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Only, this year the Savor South Walton Culinary Village expands to include four convenient “Nosh Pavilions” peppered along the Boulevard and mixed into the wine tasting tents.
The weather has still been back forth a bunch with the prognosticators wrong about as often as right. The other morning had a small craft advisory and it was the prettiest day we've had in weeks. TOPS’L Beach & Racquet Resort in South Walton, Florida will host the $10,000 USPTA TOPS’L Clay Court Championships this May, one of four tournaments that comprise the USPTA Surface Championship Series. The event is open to the public to attend and watch USPTA-certified tennis professionals compete for cash prizes in each category. USPTA TOPS’L Clay Court Championships will take place May 14 through 16, 2016.
Bryan Kennedy is back in town and is set to perform at Hibiscus in the Backyard of Love on Tuesday, April 19. The music starts at 7:00 p.m. but come out early for the low country shrimp boil and pulled pork sandwiches starting at 5:00 p.m. The night of music under the old oaks in Grayton Beach will benefit Children's Volunteer Health Network (CVHN).
