Hard to believe that's it's Spring Break all ready here at the beach. I saw my first big group of (obviously out of town) kids on the beach today when we came back in from fishing. The past two months of slow time have sure been nice for all us that live here. My schedule gets pretty busy starting the first full week of March and the weather looks like it it starting to get better as well with at least a three day window of calm Gulf right now.

The latest real estate report for January 2016 includes statistics for single family homes in Walton County, Florida. Closed sales were down 4% for January compared to the same month last year. Cash sales were up 11%. Inventory was down 8%. Median days on the market was up 16%.

For the 14th year we celebrate this out-and-back, fast and mostly flat course where runners from all over the US pass quaint beach towns, dune lakes, and the world's most beautiful beaches.
