The Andrew Duhon Trio is returning to Central Square Records for an In-Store Performance on Tuesday January 26 at 5pm.

Andrew Duhon is a grammy nominated, songwriter from New Orleans, a teller of stories  with an undeniable voice, weighted and soulful.  

 
His latest group, The Andrew Duhon Trio brings a new musicality to the tunes with upright bassist, Myles Weeks and drummer ,Maxwell Zemanovic.

City of Destin 16th annual Run with the Dogs 5K takes place on Saturday, March 19 at 9am.

This run is open to individual runners/walkers also we are opening up two new categorie, walker with stroller and runner with stroller. Participants may bring their dog, big or small, to run or walk the race. All dogs are required to be wearing their current rabies tag and must be on a short leash. Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs (bring your baggies)!

The Destin History & Fishing Museum announces their Annual Gumbo Contest and Silent Auction Fundraiser. The event will take place Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Destin Community Center from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Area restaurants and individuals compete for the title of the best gumbo on the panhandle. The event will include live music by a local band and a silent auction of sixty plus packages including artwork, vacation stays, jewelry, and restaurant gift certificates, boating and fishing trips, services, golf, recreational activities and much more.
